A Hull man faces multiple felony counts of second-degree sexual abuse after Sioux County authorities say he sexually abused two children under the age of 12 several years ago. The case is separate from the ICAC investigation announced the same week.

Jakob Gamboa, 34, one of three people charged in connection with a February 2026 burglary of a Hull business, accepted a plea deal this week. He pleaded guilty to third-degree burglary and was sentenced to five years in prison.

Evan Daniel Marra, 30, of Hull was arrested May 14 following an ICAC investigation by the Sioux County Sheriff's Office. He faces 59 Class D and 4 Class B felony counts related to alleged possession and distribution of child sexual abuse material.
